Air and Oil Cooler

A wide range of standard units can now meet most of the applications in the field of oil / air cooling units. 17 sizes of the OKAN series are available with a maximum heat dissipation of 6.2 kW/K, subject to market requirements, in one or multi-pass design options.

Additionally, for plant engineering and for series producers we are developing project related special designs.

Applications
  • Cooling of oils, hydraulic fluids and emulsions using ambient air - especially in the fields of mechanical engineering, plant engineering, building machinery and the special automotive industry.
  • Used as additional coolers at peak loads ie in the summer. Where water is not available or piping is too expensive the basic element is an aluminium cooler core - bar and plate construction. Oil tubes are fitted with a turbulence element to ensure an optimum heat transfer. The fan mounted behind the core is usually a suction fan.

To achieve high heat dissipation, the fin arrangement, fan blades and engine power are harmonised aerodynamically and thermally.
