HRS FUNKE F Series - Pharmaceutical Multitube 
The HRS FUNKE F Series was developed specifically for the pharmaceutical industry and features corrugated tubes designed to increase the turbulence of the liquid and lead to an improved rate of heat transfer. Manufactured as standard from AISI 316 stainless steel with a 0.4 micron finish, this heat exchanger’s highly polished and crevice free construction ensures that it easily meets the pharmaceutical industry’s stringent hygiene and non-contamination requirements. The seamless design of the HRS F Series means that there is nowhere for bacteria to become trapped, ensuring that there is no contamination of the pharmaceutical product. Another important attribute of the HRS F Series range is the incorporation of double tube plates featuring an integral air gap between, therefore in the unlikely event of a crack, the leakage is to the atmosphere so that no cross contamination occurs.
Of a compact design the HRS F Series is much smaller than a comparable smooth tube unit making it both more cost effective and space efficient.

Heating and cooling of fluids for injection and laboratory wastes; sterilisation of fluids for injection.
